A private session is similar to working with a personal trainer or some have even likened it to a bodywork session. It is ideal for those who can’t attend regular classes, are pregnant or recovering from an injury.

The practice of yoga will open and strengthening your physical and energetic body while releasing areas where stress and tension are held. As you move mindfully through the yoga poses (asanas) I will guide you to cultivate an environment within which quiets the mind, harmonizes the body, opens the heart and fosters a deep inner stillness.
Classes are tailored to your personal needs and limited in size. Allowing you to explore, deepen and refine your yoga practice in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Breathing techniques (pranayama) and Guided visualization are integrated into the practice.

Experiential Study of Classical Hatha Yoga - Intermediate to Advanced
For the individual who desires to expand their understanding and experience of yoga. This series of classes is devoted to using the techniques of yogasana to cultivate awareness, allowing the "yogasana to become tools to higher awareness, providing the stable foundation necessary for the exploration of the body, breath, mind and higher states." Swami Satyananda Saraswati
By expanding our awareness we can identify and release physical, emotional and mental holding patterns. Using the techniques of yoga to consciously influence, integrate and harmonize all levels of our being.
Asana (physical practice), Pranayama (expansive breathing), Yoga Nidra (sleep with full awareness), Mantras (use of sound / chanting) and Dhyana (mediation) will be integrated into the classes.
